The brilliant partnership between the opening batsman of 84 runs in 7.2 overs. They took the Hurricane scorecard to 190/3 in 20 overs. Hurricanes beat Renegades by 4 runs – Mohammad Nabi fireworks took regards to 186/5 falls just four runs behind the total.
Marvel Stadium – The flying start between Matthew Wade and Mac Wright delivered the best opening stand for Hurricanes who had kept the hopes alive for playoffs. Both teams played their final game of the group stage before making their way to the BBL points table. On a perfect batting surface while batting first Hurricanes put a big total with 190/3 in 20 overs to make game competitive.
In the pursuit of 119 Renegades batting line especially Shaun Marsh. Webster and Muhammad Nabi made a significant contribution but false just four runs behind the target. Hurricanes beat Renegades by 4 runs – Hurricanes didn’t quite to maintain their run rate scoring with the ten runs per over. Hurricanes were 112/2 in 14 overs and then game piled by the settled batsman to recover the innings from two quick loss of wickets. Ben McDermott scored a very handy 38 runs off 19 balls with his three sixes and single boundary. Hurricanes scored 20 runs from left-arm spinner Samit Patel the 19th over of the innings.

Gades was required to score 12 runs off nine shots, and Nathan Ellis defended ten runs in his very last over.
